MULTIPLE INTELLIGENC TEST IN RURA

MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE TEST

In my teriitory Rura- 209303 I am organising a test named MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE

Why should you give this exam

To lead a happy life, it's very important that one chooses a career which suits their personality. However, many students select a career without even knowing the best suited options. Indian Intelligence Test was first organized in 2014 with an objective to solve this problem. We provide a platform where students can know their intelligence type. On the basis of their intelligence type, they can decide the learning method and career best suited to them.It is also a platform where students compete against their peers across the nation and know where they stand in academic performance. This test prepares them for a competitive world they will face after school and gives them insight on subject areas where improvement is required. We reward the meritorious students to encourage them. All the participants get a certificate of participation from KESHAV DWIVEDI>to recognize their effort.

What is MI

ntelligence is not a single general ability. Rather, there are several specific primarily sensory"modalities". Each child is unique and his or her intelligence type is simply the dominating modality.Howard Gardner, a professor at Harvard Graduate School of Education, has identified seven distinct intelligences. This theory has emerged from recent cognitive research and "documents the extent to which students possess different kinds of minds and therefore learn, remember, perform, and understand in different ways," according to Gardner (1991). According to this theory, "We are all able to know the world through language, logical-mathematical analysis, spatial representation, musical thinking, use of the body to solve problems or to make things, an understanding of other individuals, and an understanding of ourselves. Where individuals differ is in the strength of these intelligences - the so-called profile of intelligences -and in the ways in which such intelligences are invoked and combined to carry out different tasks, solve diverse problems, and progress in various domains."Gardner says that these differences "challenge an educational system that assumes that everyone can learn the same materials in the same way and that a uniform, universal measure suffices to test student learning. Indeed, as currently constituted, our educational system is heavily biased toward linguistic modes of instruction and assessment and, to a somewhat lesser degree, toward logical-quantitative modes as well." Gardner argues that "a contrasting set of assumptions is more likely to beeducationally effective. Students learn in ways that are identifiably distinctive. The broad spectrum of students - and perhaps the society as a whole - would be better served if disciplines could be presented in a numbers of ways and learning could be assessed through a variety of means."To find out intelligence type of children, we'll provide some statements for which the students will select an option from the given options according to their own view.Example:Statement: I can play a musical instrument.Options: 1. Mostly disagree, 2. Slightly disagree, 3. Slightly agree, 4. Mostly agreeOn the basis of the answers provided by students, we will tell the intelligence type of the individual. We aim to identify the intelligence type of each child so that best suited learning method is used, nurturing of critical skills is carried out and eventually the best career path is selected. We intend to break the shackles that force the youth to "settle down" for conventional careers. We want to identify and nurture children of the present who shall be the leaders of tomorrow. Regular qualitative and quantitative assessment needs to be done at the national level in order to build up the pool of such potential leaders.
